German minimalism
Since 2003, Patrick Lotz, Stefan Golz and Gregor Garkisch work on a joint project called Wemoto.
In the current conditions of the overwhelming street fashion market, many creators plunge into the farthest corners of their imagination and turn away from the usual concepts that, despite their long tradition, have great potential.
That's exactly what Wemoto's German creators do not want to do. They do not let their imagination do what they want but direct it in the direction they want.
Young creators appreciate minimalism. No crazy patterns.
Designers of the Wemoto label are not inexperienced, but they make sophisticated, sober and fresh designs and prints. Everything in the colors that do not wear out all the attention to the clothes but they have the task of giving the clothes the shape and the face .. They do what they can do well. They use traditional colors and patterns to create unmistakable Wemoto products.
They do not seek through the minimalist way to complex models. They are minimalist because they are convinced that even simple street outfits can be beautiful and interesting if they are created by people who truly believe in the beauty of simplicity associated with sophistication of details.
